With my lens turned to the unique, intimate, and beautiful relationship between horses and their humans, I continue to find that the purest art comes from the hearth.

My equine photography sessions are most productive when you to invite me to the place where you and your horses are most comfortable - whether that is the stable in dawn's light or while riding. Spending time with equestrians nurtures my own equine passion, fostered at age three when my dad led me on old, blind Popcorn. Life has brought me back to the barn. My goal is to create a work of art that reflects the dignity and intimacy of the relationship you have fostered with your horse. 

Booking a session requires a pre-consultation by video conference. Based in Portland, Oregon. Available for travel worldwide. I look forward to meeting you and your horses!

Fine Details:

How does this work? Each portrait experience is composed of a phone or Zoom consultation, the photography session itself, and a Zoom order session with Linnea.

How long does a session last? Most sessions last about two hours. However, it’s not a bad idea to plan for three so you won’t be late for your next adventure.

Where does a session take place? The ideal location is where you and your horse(s) are most comfortable- barn, trail, beach, wherever you are most at ease with each other.

How soon will I get to see the images? You will be able to view your proofs with me on a Zoom call within one week of your session. You will place your order at that time.

How long will it take to get my portraits? If you order gift prints (no framing), your portraits will be shipped to you within six to eight weeks. For custom framed portraits, my professional framer, David Young of Limitless Creations, will contact you to deliver and hang your portraits.

How long is the order meeting? Plan to spend an hour making your selections.

Only an hour?!? Over the years some clients have expressed anxiety about being able to choose portraits in just one hour. Don’t worry! We have helped thousands of clients make selections that suit their taste and budget. We will work together to get you exactly what you’re looking for.

How much does this cost? Packages begin at $2700. All packages include a pre-session consultation, wardrobe selection guidance, the session fee, and some digital files. Additional digital files, prints, or custom framed pieces are offered separately.

Do you offer framing? Yes. All of our heirloom portraits include framing by an experienced custom framer, David Young of Limitless Creations. Custom framing by experienced craftsmen helps protect your heirloom portrait.

When is payment due and how can I pay? Orders are paid in full via Quickbooks invoice the day they are placed.
